Rhema does not do well with all the boisterous yelling and clapping at the finish line; this year was no different. I’m praying that one year she will not hide her face, will actually receive and hold her trophy; I’m trusting she will get there one day. It’s so bad that she will not even usually touch her trophy until the end of the day, when most folks are gone or even until we get home in a more familiar/quite atmosphere.
Presentation Of The Trophy By Princess Rapunzel
Rhema hid her face and would only peek out at this beautiful Princess who gave her the trophy. The characters at the event are always so nice and patient with all the kids.
Now that Rhema is home, and out of the noisy environment, she will hold her trophy proudly and has shown it off to Papa & Gida! She say’s it’s “a man reaching up” when she describes it to us. LOL!
