Rhema’s First Big-Girl Fair Ride!
Riding with Aunt Cha Cha & Sanako!
Oh, some FUN was had at the Fair! First she wanted to ride the “ducky” (above) and then she did not want to leave, so she rode the “caterpillar” (below) on the same ride!
Rhema has sooo grown up since last year and she has over come soooo many of her sensory challenges! It was like a different child this year at the Fair; Rhema rode rides, did not hide her face as much and really took in all the sights and sounds.
She still did hide some and would not “hold” anything (like at the games) but she did not completely shut-down like the years before. Rhema was very alert and even got really excited and would express what she wanted to do.
We could not get over how much better she did this year compared to years last!
Riding the “Bees” with Uncle Tots!
This ride proved to be a little too much (it went up in the air) but Rhema did not cry and was not scared when she got off– that was a HUGE step for her!
Rhema’s favorite was getting this trumpet from a game! She loved her birds-eye view from atop Daddy’s shoulders!
