“And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory forever and ever (through the endless eternities of the eternities). Amen (so be it).” Phil 4:9-20
Yes, that is BOTH Habitat for Humanity and Lowes Hero’s Program Angels working side by side to bless our precious Rhema! I’m telling you folks, God has “liberally supplied–to the full– our need” for these wheelchair ramps for Rhema!
To fully explain the Miracle, here how our amazing God worked all this out: Habitat for Humanity’s budget for wheelchair ramps was exhausted by the time I found out about their program. They said to not worry that they would talk with some churches or other resources to see if they could get some funding. I mentioned that if they would type up a letter with all the supplies they would need that I would take it over to Lowes and see if they would consider giving us a discount on materials to help out. At the time I had no idea about the “Lowe’s Heroes” Program. The letter took a few weeks to get done and I was beginning to worry with the little time we had left would we get it done before her surgery. When the letter was ready, Rhema and I went over and picked it up and drove to Lowes to meet with the GM, whom we contacted ahead of time to be sure he was available. We were told he was in a meeting until 3:30 so to come after that time. Rhema and I met with him, gave him the letter from Habitat and explained what the ramp was for. The GM got a funny look on his face and said, “boy this is so funny….we were just in a meeting 5 minutes ago and were discussing that our Hero’s program needed to find a building project.” My mouth dropped open! Pointing to the letter, I said, “here is your project” and pointing to Rhema, “here is who the project is for!” He smiled so big and said that yes, this seemed to be perfect and would really help them out to have everything ready and laid out for them, but he would need to double check with the chain of command and call us on Monday. WOW!!!! For the guy to just be walking out of a meeting where they were instructed to find a project and then to be handed a project all specked out and on company letterhead from Habitat for Humanity – – – you cannot orchestrate that kind of thing – – – it’s just God folks!!!!! Rhema and I thanked him for his time and left Lowes nearly in tears! How awesome that God prepared all this, set it out in time, knowing that when I put my Feet to my Faith, it would lead me to this man at such a time as this?!
We I cannot tell you how amazingly awesome it was to watch Rhema’s first ramp be constructed. I kept thinking, “God you are so amazing! These folks are amazing! This whole thing is AMAZING!!!”
