Rhema SOOOOO enjoys her Art classes this week! This day we were making puppets and a puppet theater. Rhema loved it!!!! We worked on her puppet and her puppet theater, but she got a little restless while I was gluing on some pieces. So, I gave her a paper plate and some paints and let her go! This is her first painting ever, with out any help and where she picked the colors she wanted. Mostly it was yellow, then she added some blues and greens. I put a hanger on it and we are hanging it up as her FIRST ever painting!
Rhema held the googly eyes as I was getting the glue for our puppet. She picked out each of the color we painted with; today the color yellow seemed to be her favorite.
Rhema and her puppet in her very own puppet theater!
Rhema picked out these colors and painted the bottom in this random style so I just helped her duplicate it all the way around. I cut and painted the windows in shapes so we can use this also to review shapes and colors. She knows where each triangle, rectangle and square is if you ask her. We added the yellow curtain and flowers with “fluffys” in the center at her request. Our puppet again had the colors she asked for for each part and I think it turned out dang cute! It was the funkiest theater there, but hey, she likes it and that is all that matters to me. She was SO VERY HAPPY to show it to her daddy, papa & gida when we got home. Yes, Rhema is one happy little budding artist!
