Momma found this pink recliner and thought it would be the best way for our little Princess to heal up after her surgery. The arms open up and have storage compartments for toys and juice cups! And the legs raise up to fully support her casts; we’ve even put a pillow under her casts to get her legs raised above her heart. The back is very padded, which is wonderful and will hopefully prevent the issues we’ve seen of pressure sores on her spine. God is good to lead me to such a product, knowing in advance this would be the best way to protect her fragile spine and also get her legs into the best position for recovery and to prevent swelling. And it’s PINK! It’s the color of healing!
We covered the chair with a sheet to protect it and Rhema had her dinner in it last night! We have no place that we can feed her with these huge casts, so it seems she will be lounging while eating for the next 4 weeks. She did not seem to mind and just ate her rice and veggies while watching a Lalaloopsy movie. Her legs are raised under the Princess blanket that her Aunt Heather sent to her and she was nice and toasty on such a cold night!
