Rhema and I have been taking it easy for a week and a half.  For the first time since she’s been born we’ve not ran all over the place for therapy appointments and doctor appointments. It’s not by choice, it’s due to a Hurricane named Issac, but it’s been kind of nice to have some normality for a change.

We work daily at home on her mobility challenges:  standing, weight bearing, stepping, etc…  Plus, we work on her developmental delays: stacking blocks, putting items into things, eating and textures, auditory sensory issues, etc…  Her swimming pool a.k.a. her “boat” pictured above is one of the tools we use to give her practice standing, weight bearing and cruising on the sides, putting the balls into the pink bowl, throwing the balls, etc…

It’s really fun to watch her play and it’s even more fun to get in it with her.  Doesn’t it just look fun?!  I can testify that it is! Oh, the things a Momma will do for her girl!  If this is torture, chain me to the walls!  Ha ha ha! 🙂
