While in the hospital, Rhema had several visitors: the Child Life Activity folks, a Pastor who prayed with her, a dear friend that we knew from TN who works at our Children’s now and a clown named Whistles. It was wonderful to see all these folks who came into our little room just to be a blessing for our girl!
Rhema has seen clown from a distance but not ever this up-close-and-personal like. She did not know if she liked it or not; when the clown tried to get close, she would turn away and hide! I think it was all just too soon from her surgery and too much to take in for her at the time. The clown was very patient and sweet and gave Rhema this white Angel bear as a present. After the clown left Rhema talked all about the bear and seemed to really like it. I love it that folks give of their time to come and cheer kids that are in the hospital. May the Lord bless each of the folks, who came to visit our Rhema, for their kindness and generosity of spirit! We love our Children’s hospital!
