Rhema finished off her clinic visit with a trip to see Mr. Bill for a “Helper-Shoe” adjustment. Mrs. Hans and Bill worked to get them ready for Rhema so we did not have to make another trip back to pick them up. The tops were flared out to allow the growth in her calf, the straps were reworked into a figure 8 pattern in the hopes to keep her feet seated correctly while she crawls and before we left Mr Bill buffed out a sharp area where the plastic was damaged. Mr. Bill took a look at the bruises on Rhema’s feet and that is how he spied the rough area that even I had missed! We love us some Mr. Bill! He takes such good care of our Rhema! Now, the prayer is that the new figure-8 strapping pattern will help hold her feet in the correct position better; hopefully this will prevent the bruising and pressure points we’ve been observing. If not, then we will have to see what else can be done. Rhema’s feet are incredibly hard to brace and we are thankful to have such a creative, proactive team working with us!
