We went with red and pink cast this go around for the month of February. They are getting our paperwork ready for discharge. As we were waiting, I noticed that one cast does not cover her toes on one foot. This is a big problem as it’s very difficult to keep her toes safe with them protruding. We have asked for the nurse to see what can be done to make her toes safer before we leave. We’ve found out that this requires the surgeon to look at it. I’m praying he will see what I’m talking about and realize that it needs to be fixed. Not sure how, but I’m not comfortable for the next three weeks trying to keep her little toes safe with them sticking out of the casts so far. They may hold up our release for a few house but I feel it necessary. Please pray this goes smoothly. Thanks.
