As part of Rhema’s outreach to the community this year, she will be doing a toy and supply drive for Children’s Hospital of Alabama, Sept. 13 through Oct. 5th.

Donations from the drive will benefit Children’s Child Program, which strives to minimize the stress that accompanies children and their families during a hospital stay.  Child Life-hosted activities provide toys, games, art, books, movies and music to help children of all ages feel more comfortable while in the hospital.

Items to donate include Play-Doh, Legos, superhero toys, and 8″x10″ or 11″x14″ blank art canvases.  All donated items must be new in its original packaging and unwrapped.  Drop-off location is Dothan Christian Fellowship, 2054 John D. Odom Road, Dothan every Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:30 to 6 p.m. for the duration of the drive.

For more information about the drive, email rhemasmom@rhemamiracle.com or Children’s Hospital’s Community Coordinator Carmen Maddox at Carmen.Maddox@childrensal.org.
