We attended a fun summer Spring outdoor event recently with Rhema where she got her FACE painted! Yes, this is now twice she’s allowed her face to be painted!!! We are do happy and proud of her progress! There was a cheerleader girl there with the character Olaf (From Frozen) painted on her face and Rhema loved it! So, they found the one who painted it and then painted Rhema’s face. It turned out so cute and all the girls were so very nice to Rhema!
The whole squad of girls wanted a picture with Rhema and she finally obliged for a quick photo. They gave her a star for her shirt and now they have a friend for life! LOL! Who knows, maybe one of these girls will work with children with special needs when they grow up. I worked with my first child with special needs when I was a senior in high school; her name was Jennifer and she had Cerebral Palsy. My time with little Jennifer, way back then, never left me and those experiences still help me today with my own little Rhema. Many, many thanks to this wonderful group of girls for the kindness they showed to Rhema! Go Headland Rams!
Rhema loved her Olaf and momma shared a red icy with Rhema before we left our fun day! Rhema thought is was so funny to see my red tongue and her red tongue! It was a wonderful day together!
